When I watched that movie, I felt really sorry for Truman. He could not have any privacy, and thought no one would see him doing things he wouldn’t do if people were around. He couldn’t have any secrets, because everyone was watching him. If I knew that my life was a television show, I would act different that I usually do. I couldn’t be myself, and that’s why the producer of the show didn’t tell him about the show. But if I would be the “star” and I knew about the show, I would probably feel good for a time but not for my whole life. I think Truman did the right choice to leave the place, after he found out something was wrong. I wouldn’t take Christof’s offer to stay in the environment, I would leave and try to get away just like Truman. He knew that there is something better on this earth than he knew.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO PEOPLE

Advertising says that material values are important to people. But to most people social values are more important than material values. They show us material values, and want us to think that through material values we would get happier and have the social values. Like perfume, advertisers want us to buy it and we would get our social values. My opinion on advertising is that it’s stupid. Because they will do everything they can just to get our attention. And if they got our attention that we buy the product than it’s not even as good as displayed.

Advertising doesn't mirror how people act, but how they are dreaming
This add would appeal to people, because it's a nice car and a lot of people would like to drive it. But in reality it costs a lot of money. It's brand new and interesting. People are dreaming of this car and it looks so nice. I think people have gone to far, because most people can't afford that car.
